“I’ll get blown out of the sky. If I do mange to survive, the Alacrans will have me put to sleep like an old dog. I’m a clone, in case you’ve forgotten. I’m livestock.” The quote said by Matt is important to me show how he changed in the story. Matt learns those clones is made for the DNA of a human and grow in cow for nine month. Clones are look at like animal and not even humans. That he doesn’t care about his life at all no more and all his hope disappeared. That he has accepted he’s a clone no changed it. He knows that he is like an animal and should be treated like one.
